Refund & Cancellation Policy

Understanding how delivery fees and cancellations are handled.

Delivery Fee Policy

Coastal Delivery Service charges a delivery fee for pickup and delivery services. This fee covers the delivery service only and does not include the cost of food or restaurant charges.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in limited situations, such as:

  • Delivery could not be completed due to driver availability
  • Duplicate payment was made for the same delivery

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Restaurant errors (incorrect items, missing items, food quality issues)
  • Customer change of mind after delivery has been accepted
  • Delays outside of Coastal Delivery Service control

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before a driver is assigned without penalty. If a driver has already been assigned or dispatched, the delivery fee may still apply.

Restaurant Responsibility

All food-related issues must be addressed directly with the restaurant. Coastal Delivery Service is responsible for delivery only.

Processing Refund Requests

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method when possible.
